What I Wore!

shirt: Gap Kids
cardigan: (thrifted) Brooks Brothers
skirt: Gap denim pencil skirt

I have been ultra conservative this week with wardrobe.  I can't seem to get away from the cardigans.  They are both functional and fashionable.  I must have one in every color, except yellow.  If anyone sees a yellow one, HOLLA!  I promise some really spunky outfit pics are on the way!  No more cardigans, at least until Monday...

ZARA Fall Preview!

I took the time to review the litems on Zara's website.  You don't have to thank me, it was my pleasure.  If you haven't heard of Zara,  it's a lot  like H&M, but they  have way better shoes.  Oh yeah, the prices are a bit higher as well.   I have not visited the local store (1715 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA) I've just been window shoppingg online for now!  I thought I would save you all some time.  Here are some of the more notable items I found.

BESOS-What I Wore!

Cardigan:  Target
Dress:  Mushka by Sienna Rose Inc.

Shoes:  Michael Kors "cinkled patent chatom bootlet"

I went a little cardigan crazy.  This one was purchased at Target, it is very light weight with a shorter sleeve.

Welcome to week 2, of my blog.  I wanted to take a moment and thank you all for reading and encourage you to invite a friend to the party!  I have been asked several times what BESOS means.  Well, for those of you who haven't googled it by now, it means KISSES in Spanish.  I had lots of help with the name from my good friend, Melanie, thanks.  I must have driven her crazy for weeks trying to come up with a name for this blog!  I think it was her idea to use BESOS instead of kisses, so BESOS to you Melanie!

Socks, Tights, and Pantyhose--OH MY!!!

I am fascinated by leg wear.  I know this may come as a surprise to some folks who have had to look at my bare legs all summer long, especially at work.  Truth is, I only don leg wear in the fall and winter months.  So, since the weather will soon be turning cold, I have been on a mission to find the perfect, you guessed it:  over the knee sock!  As a former Catholic school girl, I love any  kind of thick knee sock, tights, even an occasional leg warmer (yes, I said it-leg warmer).

I view leg wear as an intricate part of an outfit, not just serving a utilitarian function, but as a true accessory.  Much like a purse or a cute scarf!  So, as I look through fashion print ads and look books.  I see my obsession for leg wear will be a well supported trend this season YESSSSS.  This gives me yet another excuse to go shopping (as if, I needed one)  Yesterday, I skipped through the parking lot of Marshalls singing to myself:  " I'm getting s-o-c-k-s, I'm getting s-o-c-k-s."  Ok, so you had to be there.  Anyway, I found the most amazing socks at Marshalls so I purchased a few (ok, 3) and I left the rest for you guys to buy for me, I mean for yourself.  When I arrived home to add my new leg wear to the appropriate drawer to make friends with the other socks and tights I discovered 2  pairs of tights, never worn ,that my sister gave me for Christmas.  How did that happen?  Take a look!
