J' ADORE VINTAGE

I love this coat!  OK, let me give you the background on this coat.  The day after Christmas I did some thrifting with my sister and my super star girlfriend Melanie.  These two ladies are incredible thrifters.  They find hidden gems every time they cross the threshold of a thrift store.
Ladies, do you dry clean your thrifted finds before you wear them?  I have a rule for thrifting.  I always leave the items in a bag outside in my garage for several days before bringing them in the house.  I dry clean some items and wash others (twice) before wearing them.  However, this coat and other furry items I have thrifted pose a problem.  These items are generally more expensive to dry clean.  I paid $20 for this coat and I don't want to spend the family fortune trying to clean it.  Any suggestions?  It is now hanging on my sun room porch, just in case it has some weird bugs or germs...

Can you believe this coat came from Sears?  Wow?  This is the only label on the coat, no care instructions or anything.  I am not even sure what type of fur this is?

I WILL TAKE ONE OF EACH, PLEASE!

I discovered these very lovely bracelets recently.  OK, how gorgeous are these bracelets?  Could you just see a few of these stacked up on your arm next to your MK watch???  I certainly can.  I bet you won't believe how inexpensive these little beauties are?  they are all under $100 at Henri Bendel's.  If Mr. P is reading this, I'll take one of each for Valentine's Day or my birthday.  I'm not very subtle, I want these bracelets!!!  What do you think, like~dislike?  Already own one?  Let me know!

DATE NIGHT~~~~~YOUR FIRED

Every Friday is date night, yeeeeaaah!  We adhere to this pretty strictly.  Date night can include holiday shopping, eating, and on this night a Tyler Perry play.  Mr. P and I headed downtown Philadelphia and had a great time.  I guess you can't tell I was having a great time by this picture, huh?  I was giving the valet driver the side eye for promising us if we sent him a text, he would have the car out front of the theatre, NOT.  It seems his phone died, well the battery died or something.  It was freezing outside.  Luckily, for him and his tip I was able to stand in the hotel lobby next door and stay warm.  Don't worry, I tipped him anyway!!!!

ONE GUESS

Lela Rose for Payless $24.99

I will give you one guess, where I found these shoes?  OK, the suspense is killing me, PAYLESS!  Yes, you heard me right, I said Payless.  Am I the last to know about these??  I am usually a shoe snob, but I am ordering both pairs of these shoes.  I am saying a silent pair to the shoe fairy that they will not hurt my feet.  However, I have paid 3times this amount for a pair of shoes that made me want to weep while walking in them!  That's another story.  Ladies, if any of you have been brave enough to purchase this shoe, please let me know your experience.  I am planning on buying them TODAY!

Sylvia Tcheressi $24.99
These couldn't hurt my feet, could they?  They look painless, right?  Oh Hell, they are $24.99!  I will keep you posted.

Preview~~~~ O CHRISTMAS TREE, O CHRISTMAS TREE

I must apologize for being such a bad blogger lately.  The last few months have been crazy, no CRAZY!  In August when I returned from vacation, I moved!  Let me rewind, I started looking for a new house in July and found one, in one week!  Unheard of, right?  Well, I have been packing, moving, unpacking, getting ready for "back to school ", and Whew just trying to get it all done and not go completely crazy  CRAZY!  I am still unpacking and  adjusting to my new surroundings, but I am loving it.  I love my NEW neighborhood and my NEW neighbors, it has been a great experience thus far.  I must thank my lovely followers for hanging in here with me during this transition.  I will be posting with greater frequency over the next few weeks.  I will include some pics of the new house and my attempt at DECKING the HALLS for CHRISTMAS.  I am accepting volunteers for organizing, painting, and decorating and whatever else you may be talented in, any takers???  Stay tuned for more Christmas tree pics, this time I will use my camera and not my iPhone, I promise!!!!!  Thanks again for Following Besos, Lynn

STORETS.COM

I purchased a leather pleated mini from the storets.com website.  The item came earlier than expected, the store accepts Pay Pal, and the ever so trendy pieces are extremely reasonable!  Take a look at a few of the items I am drooling over!

I am thinking about getting this dress for a New Years Eve Party, cute right?  It's $45....

This coat, is so Beautiful!  It is currently on sale for $127!  I am hoping it gets marked down a wee bit more by next week so I can justify purchasing it!  Cross your fingers that it doesn't sell out...

Hmm, I'm on the fence with this one.  Is it too short for a 41 year old?

Again, picture and party perfect, but is it too short???

All of the leather skirts fall into the $50-$70 price range, not bad.  Excuse me PLEATHER!

$65 and well worth it!  I ordered this skirt a month ago and I will debut it on Friday. This skirt is NOT too short, it has a stretchy waist band and says one size fits all?  That would be a lie!  Unless, you are a small and a wee bitty medium this will not fit!  I say it could stretch to fit a size 8???  I am being generous, so buyers beware!  Stay tuned, I will post pics this weekend of how I styled this skirt for date night....

Shorts $58

I Vow To Never Comb My Hair Again, Chapeau Anyone?

Insert head here!  How much do you love these hats featured at Target, right now!  I know they did not receive as much buzz and fanfare as the Missoni line, but really they are pretty awesome.  Right?  The line was designed by Albertus Swanepoel exclusively for Target, they are light weight and perfect for a bad hair day.  Now, sir Albert's hats normally retail for $100's of dollars, but these lovelies are all under $30 bucks~ HOLLA!
If you think Target should pay me for this endorsement raise your hand, me too....

A Steal, not a Splurge!

VJ Style website discovery!  Boy, did I just stumble into very dangerous territory?  This website has cute handbags and other items.  Did I mention that the handbags and dresses REALLY caught my eye??? OK, I think I said that already, huh?
Anywho, I am currently saving for a Louis Vuitton bag that I have been lusting after for some time now.  Since, my saving is NOT going so well, I am thinking about grabbing one of these beauties as a slight consolation.  Tell me what you think?  I know its not  LV, but I am waaay far from my GOAL so one or maybe two of these bags will be a nice diversion, for now.  These bags range from $20 to $40 bucks, a definite Steal until I can SPLURGE on the LV or (Chloe) that my heart desires.  Help me decide which bag to purchase, I really want them ALL!

Missed Missoni

Boooooo Target!  OK, I don't mean that.  I am sure most of you TargetNista's were aware of the Missoni line debuting a Target stores, right?  Off course I planned to take 2 hours off from work to hit my local Target.  At the last minute, I decided to go to work and hit Target at lunch!  What the heck was I thinking?  When, I got to the Cherry Hill, NJ Target store it was bare.  I saw lots of signs and empty racks.  Not even an umbrella was left behind, smh.  So sad, but determined to find something from the line I proceeded to travel to 3, YES 3 Target locations.  At my last stop, I spotted a lady returning three large bags of, you guessed it Missoni items.  She, well we will call her a HOARDER had everything from gloves to the very dress I was searching for!  I stood behind her in line just waiting to pounce.  This woman could not find her receipt, smh!  The sales person refused to return the items. NOOOOO, I need the dress, please oh please return these items.....  I offered to buy the dress from the rejected Target shopper.  The woman rolled her eyes at my offer, and left!  Seriously rude!  I hope you ladies had a better Missoni experience.  I  hope they restock quickly.  The Missoni Madness continues....

Jack and Ginger

Don't you just LOVE all-inclusive?  I drank more Jack Daniels and Ginger Ale on my vacation than I care to remember.  Anywho, we recently vacationed in Montego Bay, Jamaica at the Jewel Resort and Spa!  If you are looking for an all inclusive adult only resort, check them out.  It is a small resort with great food and even better staff!  We had such a blast, not much on nighttime entertainment, but by the evening we were soooo pooped from drinking, eating, and sitting in the sun that we just went to bed!
