Dawn-Marie (my sister), Khalilah, and Taryn

What a stylish group of ladies!  Sorry I didn't get any close ups on the shoes, my bad.  These ladies had Mad Shoe Game that night!  These are a few pictures from an event that I attended last Friday.

HOME MADE

I have been gone for way too long ladies!  I am deep into summer mode, reading lots of blogs, magazines, and great books.  I have also discovered a NEW hobby.  This new hobby has been keeping me busy for the last few weeks. I have been cooking up all natural hair and body creams.  Oh, and I even made mouthwash for my son.  Let me back up and give you the story from the top.  I discovered or rediscovered YouTube.  I am now, completely addicted to watching YouTube videos.  I am trying to remember which blogger(s) had a link to YouTube that started this obsession?  I need to place the blame for this addiction on someone, right?  Anywho, I have made so many wonderful smelling products in my kitchen over the last few weeks.

Here is my first attempt at a Shea butter based hair, skin, and body whip.  It can be used to moisturize dry hair or as a deep conditioner.  My father uses it on his feet and elbows (he has NO hair to use it on).  I have received positive feedback and lots of great reviews.
Before I forget, recently I was informed that my Shea butter is really, African butter not Shea.  Long story, so I will save you the details.  Just know ladies, that whatever that yellow stuff is, it works!  But, I did  order the authentic unrefined Shea butter from Coastal Scents.  It is even more fabulous and it smells much better.  So, ladies please stay tuned for a DIY real soon.  Well, as soon as I perfect my Besos Shea Butter Souffle!!!!!!

My apologies, I have not posted in a little while.  Maybe you noticed, maybe you didn't???  OK, so I have been a very bad blogger of late.  So, here are my excuses, ready?  It's the end of the school year for my son, it's way hot outside for picture taking, I'm being lazy, and oh yeah the number one reason I have not posted in a week plus (drum roll) I have looked a HOT MESS!!!!!  I promise, I will have an updated post this week, no worries!

STILL LETTOS!!!

Definition:  The term Stilettos refers to a type of shoe heel that is pointy, thin and high.  Also called a "spike" or "spiked" heels...

I got a little carried away recently, fortunately for my bank account these shoes were all ALL on SALE.

Can you tell which ones are my FAVORITES????  I must tell you that I paid less than $60 bucks for all three pairs of shoes, a bargain!

On the fence about this pair, I may return them.  What do you think?  They are very comfortable and I was thinking of pairing them with my skinny cargos!  Kinda edgy, No?  OK let me help you, help me.  They were only $26, does that help? They are Nine West too, if that makes a difference.

TRIPOD

Well, my son seems to have cut my shoes out of every picture, so I will apologize before you go any further.  Maybe this is his way of telling me that he hates my shoes?  I don't know, he should have gotten fired by now and replaced with a trusty tripod!  All in favor raise your hand, just kidding.  He is much cheaper than a tripod, plus who will set the timer on the camera?  Not me, I am still trying to figure out how to reduce red eye!  Have a GREAT MONDAY LADIES

BLACKED OUT

jacket:  Target
tank:  (grey) Target
dress:  Marshalls
belt:  Target
shoes:  Target

I am loving this belt.  I saw a similar one at Banana Republic some time ago.  This one is from Target for a fraction of the price.  I had to have it.  It actually is one belt, and it snaps in the back!  Love at first sight, seriously.  I have been scoring some really great belts at Target lately.  I swear I love that store they have everything.  Maybe, I should look into buying some Target stock, they need to make me rich instead of just making me FASHIONABLE!

Check out these Mossimo pumps from, you guessed it Target.  A few bloggers were raving about them, so I had to try them for myself.  They come in great colors, but I got the patent leather.  Definetly playing it safe with this color.  The Vivianna by Mossimo also came in Nude/Blush, but offcourse they are completely sold out on line and in stores.  Anywho, I rate them about a 7 for comfort.  They have a rubberized sole which makes them a bit more comfy, but they still became painful after 10 hours of running around the hospital in stilettos, bad idea!

Sorry for the goofy face and pose, but check out the shoes!
