Jack and Ginger



Don't you just LOVE all-inclusive?  I drank more Jack Daniels and Ginger Ale on my vacation than I care to remember.  Anywho, we recently vacationed in Montego Bay, Jamaica at the Jewel Resort and Spa!  If you are looking for an all inclusive adult only resort, check them out.  It is a small resort with great food and even better staff!  We had such a blast, not much on nighttime entertainment, but by the evening we were soooo pooped from drinking, eating, and sitting in the sun that we just went to bed!

TRASH PICKER

OK, Guess what I found on the trash?  Guess again?  Ok, I'll just tell you.  I found this same cabinet!  I dragged my father back to the trash pile to put it in his truck, didn't want to get my truck dirty.  Ok, don't tell him I said that, but it's true.  Ok, my Dad is the chief trash picker in our family and it has definetly rubbed off on me.  Let me just tell you, I actually found two of these and when I returned, someone had taken one of them, insert angy face!  Anywho, I have been storing this beauty in my Dad's garage offcourse, since the fall.  He sanded it down and is STILL waiting for me to pick a paint color.  Today, (yeaaah)  I discover this inspiring beauty online.  Oh, did I mention this is not the actual cabinet.  Well, anyway now I am totally TOTALLY inspired now to pick a paint color and have my gracious Father duplicate this cabinet.  How exciting, maybe he can have it finished by the time I return from JAMAICA!  Let me know if you have any suggestions about paint color and organizational add ons to the doors and shelves...

PEDICURE DU JOUR

I will apologize for these pictures.  I am without my photographer this weekend.  My son is already visiting his grandparents for the week!  So, I was forced to take today's pictures of my own pedicure.  I must go now, I am still packing for my trip.  Stay tuned, pictures of Jamaica are on the way...

OK, these are now on sale for $7.48.  This is my second pair.  I returned the first pair, they hurt like hell!  So, why did I buy another pair?  Did you read the part about them being on sale for, $7.48!!!  Well, I tried on a smaller size, they felt soooo much better.  Normally, I wear a 7 1/2, but I got a 6 this time.  They run way BIG so run, don't walk over to Target and grab a pair of $7.48.

BAG LADY, YOU GONNNA HURT YA BACK!



OK, it arrived.  So, here is my full review.  I was a little unhappy with the material.  In all fairness, the website could have called it Vegan leather, pleather, I don't know because I didn't bother to read the description.  OK, my  BAD.  I am a horrible online shopper.  Don't judge me, I saw it, I wanted it, I purchased it.  No reading required, I'm very visual.  This could have been worse, right?  I do, like the bag.  It is very large, I like.  It is fun and spunky, I like.  It is lavender, I like that too.  The material, well let's just say I am a little less please with that part.  Close up, it looks a little cheap?  No, maybe cheap is a bit harsh.  Scratch that, I like it.  I just wish it was genuine leather, I will leave it at that. 

 

 I am really digging the lining, also very fun and spunky.  I will carry it a little longer, hopefully it will grow on me even more.  I have gotten lots of compliments and I may rock it with the longer strap while on vacation.  If you are thinking of purchasing this bag from the Spotted Moth, please read the description.  It comes in Camel as well.  Happy Shopping ladies!

AND SO THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS...



I will be lounging by this pool in less than 96 hours!  OK, can you tell I am loooong overdue for a vacation???  Can you?  Well, I am.  I booked this vacation as a birthday surprise for Mr. P.  He has actually never been to Jamaica so he is super excited.  Does this look AMAZING or what?  This will be our first "kid free" vacation, EVER .  Wellll, we have done some quick overnight trips without the kids, but never a week long, spa filled, "adult only vacation/resort". Jamaica here we come!





I hope it is just as amazing as the pictures.  Let me tell you what I know about this resort!  Nothing, I found it by accident.  I went on the Cheap Caribbean website and it was the deal of the week, whatever that means.  However, I booked the trip through Liberty Travel.  Shout out to Carol R. at the Cherry Hill office.  She was such a big BIG help and pretty funny too.  Liberty travel totally matched the listed price, with discount  from the Cheap Caribbean website!  Say what?  Yes, honey price match! 
Anywho, I went online to trip advisor and read ALL the reviews before booking.  I could not find a bad review, so I book this vacation for two.  Did I mention that I have the FLU?  OK, I had the flu.  I was so run down from work.  (I work in a hospital (germ central)  It was bound to happen, even with the flu shot!  Anyway, like I said Jamaica here I come...
