IT'S JUST THAT DEEP

C~A~N, we talk?  For the last 8 or 9 years I have had the pleasure of having my hair cared for by "KeeKee."  She has gently and professionally cared for my NATURAL hair like it was her own.  I am pleased to call her my friend and stylist.  KeeKee recently launched her own website, "Deeper Than Hairand like her amazing talent, it is top notch!  Please stop by her website, leave her a message, and DO make an appointment.

"DEEPER THAN HAIR"

ISN'T SHE LOVELY

Is this the most beautiful dress you have ever saw?  I love, love, love this dress.  I don't know where it came from, or who designed it, I have zero information, sorry.  But, I want must have this dress or something very similar.  Here's where you all come in.  OK, if anyone knows any details about this dress or a similar one, please leave a comment.  This is a perfect dress for a formal summer wedding, right?  Now, I just need someone to get married, HA!

SO INSPIRED

Inspiration Outfit
"The Fashionista Next Door"

This is what I call "mean mugging!"  My son photographer was holding the camera but had his head turned in the opposite direction.  Who does that?  I really need to bribe recruit a photographer!

jeans:  Levi's (thrifted/DIY)

shoes:  Guess

I titled this post "So Inspired" because I recently saw a fellow blogger, Ebone style this blouse.  OK from the top, I purchased this blouse at the end of the summer last year and never wore it.  I could not figure out for the life of me how to style this thing!  Every attempt to pair it with tights or shorts made me feel like I was wearing a maternity top.  No offense, but that was not the look I was going for.  Ebone styled her blouse with cut off shorts and Rachel Roy's tribal wedges, very cute...  So, how'd I do?  Big thanks to the Fashionista Next Door, for allowing me to use her picture!!!!!

Pedicure Du Jour

My new favorite shoes!  I just purchased these from Marshall's for last month's pole dancing event!  A steal at $39.99!!!!!  Very comfortable as well.  I just realized how fat my toes appear in this picture, WOW!  I broke my right big toe several years ago.  As a result, peep toe shoes are a challenge.  You see, the toe has a tendency to become numb when I wear peep toe shoes, GO FIGURE.  What women endure to be stylish...

Devil In A....

I felt kinda devilish in this dress!  I only wish I had taken off the blazer so you could get the full flavor of the outfit.  Oh well, next time.  About the dress, I shopped my closet and found this lovely frock hanging all alone, insert sad face.  I initially purchased it for a sorority function and I don't think I wore it since.  Red is not my "go to" color for much outside of sorority life.  Anywho, this dress was purchased at the GAP, on SALE.  I think it was buy one and get the second dress 50% off at the OUTLET, with a 30% off coupon I might add.  I gifted the second one to my sister.  What do you think?
I am playing around with Photoscape.  I don't have the hang of it yet, so please be patient.

GOT POLE-PREVIEW?

Sooo, I guess you are wondering why I am holding on to this pole for dear life?  Me too!  No, seriously, why?  Well, for my wonderful Sorority Sister's 40th Birthday (day after mine), she decided that it would be fun to have a bunch of 40+ year olds swing from stripper poles!  Guess what, she was right!  I had the best time ever!  So here are the details:  Trained professionals provided us with a 2 hour pole dancing lesson and a Sex Toy demonstration, fun right?  But, what a workout!  I have a new found "respect" for anyone who can pole dance.  It is not easy!  Pole dancing apparently, requires extreme upper body strength as well as walnut crushing strength in your thighs, I have neither!  I would suggest that if you have a pole dancing class available in  your area, try  TRY it.
If you happen to be in the Philadelphia area, shake it (literally) down to 3rd and South to Got Pole?
