MY NEW BOO

So here is my new boo!  It only took me 2 months to decide which bag to get.  Here she is.   OK, this is the back story regarding the bag.  A week before my Birthday.  Mr P took me to Nordstrom to look for a bag for my special day.  I thought I wanted the Tory Burch nylon and patent tote.  However, when, I got to the store I changed my mind.  I  thought if felt a little, well cheap (poor quality).  Then, I kinda considered getting the Longchamp bag for about 2 seconds.  Nope again, so to his delight, my indecisive nature won.  I ended up leaving the store with nothing, insert sad (indecisive) face here.  So, fast forward to last Saturday.  Yet another trip through Nordstrom's handbag section,  and guess who spotted this lovely?  Nope, not me.  Mr. P spotted this bag!!!  Today, is the first day I carried "her" and I must say I think I love "her, " for now anyway....

PAINT, PARTY FOR ONE

Just in case you have been wondering what I have been up to!  I have been hard at work, painting.  It is not my favorite thing to do and I'm not particularly good at it.  However, I hate waiting for someone else to do things for me( aheem, Mr. P if your reading this, I am talking about you!)  So, any who I think I mentioned that I moved and have decided to do some interior decorating.  Since, my new obsession with all things DIY I decided to tackle the laundry room.  Frankly, I figured if I messed it up, who would know?  

My son/photographer is the one narrating this video.  I think he's funny but what do I know, he's my kid!  

A few after photos for you, sorry for the poor picture quality. Just in case, the poor picture quality wan't disturbing enough, how about ALL the junk and laundry on the floor???  (YIKES) I have a few more things to do like a clothes pin sunburst mirror, some wall cabinets and last but not least some artwork.  Yesss, every laundry room needs some fancy artwork.  Stay tuned.....

What Dress Code?

Well, now you tell me?  After 5 or has it been 6 years, now you want to enforce the dress code?  I feel like someone just sucked the air out of the room.  OK, its not that bad.  Let me explain, apparently someone has decided that it is not safe or proper even to wear open toed shoes at work!  Really?  I have heard some rumblings about enforcing the  NO OPEN TOE SHOE POLICY!  So, I thought I should at least find a comfortable (and cute) shoe without toe cleavage!  My heart aches.  ALL, of my summer shoes have at least a peep toe if not full toe exposure!  UGH! Well, this has given me an excuse to hunt for shoes.  Alas, I found these lovely Mary Jane inspired beauties.  I even read the "shoe review"  to see if they would be comfy, YUP.  The $30 price tag really helped me make my FINAL decision.  So, what do you think? Cute enough to accompany casual (summer) work attire???  I ordered them from PiperLime, they are still available in a few colors, check em out!

Almost Here

My 42nd, Birthday is almost here!  As you can see I have already started celebrating.  I had a lovely dinner with Mr. P at Ruth's Chris Steak House.  Umm, I would have to say the experience was a little under whelming! to say the least.  My food, was just OK.  I have to be honest with you, for the price it just not worth it.  I have had a waaaay better steak, at home.  Sorry, guys.  I know folks LOVE this place, not me.  Anywho, I really digressed huh?  Well, my birthday is in a few days and I am really looking forward to gifts, more cake, and yes more gifts!!!!  Oh, by the way~  I have had a way better chocolate molten cake from Trader Joe's !!!

I SMELL GOOD, REAL GOOD

I smell sooooo good!  I want to give credit to a few fellow bloggers who reminded me through their blogs, that this perfume still exists.  I wore this scent back in the early 90's.  Back when the only ONLY way to purchase Carol's Daughter's products was to make the pilgrimage to Brooklyn!  Oh, what a great scentastic experience that was.  Fast Forward to last week.  I was strolling through the blogosphere and at least 2 fellow bloggers where singing the sweet, sweet praises of Carol's Daughter's Ecstasy perfume.  

I love, love, love that it comes in this roll on version now!  How cool is this purse sized edition?  I ran, no really, I ran to Sephora after work and picked up this sweet treat last week.  Today, I keep sniffing myself because ladies, I smell just that DAMN good!  Sorry, I can't be modest when I smell this delicious!  If you have not tried it, I suggest that you do so , REAL SOON!  It is Mr. P approved, so I will be buying it in bulk.  Unless, I get a gallon for V-Day, hint~hint...

I must admit, I am a long time fan of Fantasy by Brittany Spears.  I go through one bottle (small size) per month.  No, really.  If you squeeze me, Brittany Spears perfume would squirt out!  OK, that sounded odd, but you know what I mean.  However, move over Britt.  Ecstasy has my heart, for NOW!
