Tucker for Target Now For Me

 I managed to score two Tucker for Target skirts off of the CLEARANCE rack!  I so hate paying full price for stuff.  Especially, when it gets marked down, after you purchased it. Oh, but not this time.  I peeked at the items when the collection first debut, but I waited and waited, then I forgot about it.  Finally, I stumbled across two skirts from the collection, on SALE.  Gotta love it.  I managed to get both skirts for less than the price  of one.  I will feature the other Tucker finds real soon.

My sister thought I was dressed for a holiday party.  I guess I could add some blingy accessories and some stilettos.  I could see myself wearing this to my job's Christmas party.  Well, maybe not, I heard they cancelled the open bar this year, scratch that.

Technical Difficulties!

 Sade called, she wants her forehead back!  Wow, and it's shiny.  Yes, I am still talking about my forehead.  This outfit post almost didn't happen and as I write this I am still thinking about deleting it.  I have been having problems with two cameras that I have been using for this blog.  So, what did I do?  I ran to Walmart and purchased the one on sale.  I didn't read the consumer reports or any product reviews.  Yes,  I usually do all of those things before making a purchase.  But, nooo, not this time.  I just pranced into Walmart and grabbed some Soy milk and a camera.  Who does that?  Me, I did that.  Well, I did that today.  Never again, I think the camera is going back to Walmart in the morning, I am keeping the milk!

The Sun Will Come Out, Tommorow!

Finally, a picture before sunset.  You guessed it, it's the weekend baby!  I stepped out on the deck to take a few shots before starting my weekend errands.  I never noticed the view of the graveyard, kinda creepy in the background.  Cue spooking music!
Hope you had a fantastic weekend.  I am still trying to steer clear of any Malls, thrift stores, Walmart, and definetly Target.  I am in a self imposed no shopping zone for the next 2 weeks, 30 days?  OK, not sure how long it will last.  I will do my best, my budget will thank me later!

FRIDAY'S COSTUME

I have proclaimed dress down Friday's at work, in my head.  However, I opted for business attire with an eclectic twist.  I found these cool OTK (over the knee) socks at Target, on clearance, off course.  I was not sure if they matched or made sense, but who cares.  This pairing made me giggle, so I went for it!  Amidst the sea of medical scrubs and lab coats, no one normally notices my crazy leg attire at work!  Oh, but they did, HA!

Meet The Browns

I LOVE hats.  That's more of a warning that informational.  I am warning you that you will be seeing quite a few hats this winter.  I have a rather large selection of winter hats currently.  This is one of my favs.  I found it on clearance at the GAP a few years ago.  You can't tell from this pic, but it's a cream color and wool, don't worry its lined to avoid hair breakage.  I don't know if it matches, but it made me feel GOOD wearing it.  I usually save my HAT collection for bad hair days, I made an exception today and threw it on freshly washed and curled hair!

I am finding that this blazer works with everything.  I will look for another one, I am sure you are sick of seeing it by now.  It is so plush and comfy I just couldn't resist wearing it, AGAIN!  Camel really is the new BLACK.  That's big for me, I love any and everything BLACK.  So for along time, BLACK was the new BLACK for me and I refused to wear any other color.  Since I started blogging, I have mixed in some other colors just to keep it interesting. Is it working?  OK, don't answer that, I can be a little sensitive.

I have been wearing a lot of skirts lately.  I recently scored about 10 or more from my local Village Thrift.  Stay tuned for the Skirt Chaser Chronicles, starting Monday!

Clothes and Cookies Do Mix

I have been keeping a secret.  I have been secretly testing cookie recipes for the past three weeks. Shhh, don't tell anyone, I'm not ready to share.  I am trying to find a KILLER cookie recipe for an upcoming cookie swap.  I am somewhat competitive and need my cookies to be the best cookie in the swap.  Don't judge me.  My waist line is paying the price for my competitive nature. I have this belt pulled way tight to contain my cookie baby.  You smell that?  Is that a fresh batch of cookies baking?  I will share my next batch with you, I promise!

This outfit cost well under $100 bucks.  Actually, less than $50.  The skirt and sweater were booth thrifted finds.  Each item cost less that $3 bucks.  The tights were on clearance and the boots were reduced due to scratches.  Grand total for the entire outfit is about $42?  Wow, now that's a bargain.  Please share your favorite thrifted find.
